Pianist Peter Lauffer has been an important force on the musical scene of Trenton, NJ since his debut with the Trenton Symphony in 1973. He established his affinity for Jazz Piano by appearing as soloist for the Trenton Times Jazz Festival in 1977, and has performed regularly in the area ever since. He has appeared internationally with alto-saxophone great, Richie Cole, and has played with Cole's Alto Madness Orchestra since 1997. Mr. Lauffer, a caring teacher, has taught at several of the area's colleges and secondary schools. He is equally at home teaching the classical genre in piano and choral idioms as he is singing, teaching, and playing the genres of Jazz.
